‘Michael’ is a new dark comedy based on the award-winning cult theater play, which has been running for over a decade and has become a cultural phenomenon. 

The Brosh family lost their young son, Michael, and holds a memorial ceremony in his name every year since then. The family is a bit of an odd one. Rivka, Michael’s mother, has lived for years with her brother, Dubi, and the two function like mental Siamese twins. Yasmin’sh, Rebecca’s teenage daughter, has to live in what was Michael’s room and cannot change anything in it. Old aunt, Tota, is a former Olympic champion who refuses to die, and there’s Peleg, Michael’s silent childhood friend. The daily situations, bizarre relationships in the family and their way of coping with Michael’s absence are what make the series funny and touching.
