The year is 2003, 8 young backpackers from all over the world each find their way to Colombia. Eager for adventure, these 8 strangers embark on a dream trek - the journey to the Lost City, deep in the Colombian jungle. Within forty-eight hours, they are kidnapped by the Colombian underground movement. As they are held captive they are subjected to threats, hunger, exhaustion and the extreme conditions of the rain forest. This international firestorm they find themselves in would leave scars that remain even twenty years later. Now, in front of the cameras, the protagonists are going to meet the man who was responsible for their kidnapping.
